Best Acne Spot Treatments...

Murad-Acne Spot Treatment—that clears and prevents acne before the actual breakout. It is great under makeup and can be applied over makeup without a smudge for the on-the-go jet setter.

For a more intense treatment that seizes those white heads (Mario Badescu "Drying Lotion"). It looks like a medical grade end all to those little ones that like to sneak up on you and it works like a charm but should be used overnight since the spot treatments are light pink. In addition, I like a few of the Mario Badescu's tried and true products: the "Drying Cream" for under skin blemishes that are still in the bump stage and "Buffering Lotion" which attacks the deep seated cystic acne.

To Brighten and Lighten...

Dr Brandt: "Laser Lightening Serum"—Hydroquinone-free, the typical ingredient which was thought to combat the signs of acne scars, sun and brown spots now is thought to possibly contribute to the development. This product is fantastic as it combats those spots and is anti-aging. This can be used under your regular moisturizer both day and night. Now this time wear your sunscreen as to not contribute to what you are trying to combat!

To Erase Blemishes...

I love the Clinique product, "Acne Solutions Concealing Stick." This great purse popper is fantastic for on the spot touch ups as well as a great makeup bag addition, to truly conceal, treat and heal those buggers as they pop up. For a post blemish eraser, the Clinique "Acne Solutions Post Blemish Formula" helps to fade the marks and is a clear gel that can be easily worn beneath makeup without caking or sliding.

To Banish Undereye Circles...

I love two products, for a light concealer under the eye that brightens and tones down any superficial darkness, I choose, Makeup Forever's "Lift Concealer." This product is fantastic, it can be layered for more coverage without looking like you have makeup on as well as diminishing any unsightly fine lines!

To Create The Perfect Flushed Cheek...

First, start with your moisturizer and SPF then layer a fantastic product from Alison Raffaele, called "Inner Glow" This is a great gel based blush that slips seamlessly onto your cheeks either by fingers or a brush. You have seven whimsical shades to choose from. The great thing about this blush is that it is a sheer wash of color that also contains vitamins A,C, and E. It is oil free, which is fantastic for summers and the purse sized packaging makes it easy to throw it into your bags!

The other idea is to use a little of the "Inner Glow" then set it with a touch of bronzer, I like Cargo's "The Big Bronzer" which will give you that illuminating glow as well as setting the blush for all day wear. You can lightly dusk a bit of the bronzer contouring your cheeks or gently wash it over your entire face, as a natural light tan might add a subtle glow.

Another trick is to place a touch of blush over the tops of the gel blush for just a touch of depth and resilience. Try Nar's "Orgasm" or "Deep Throat". Yes, these provocative shades will add just that bit of magic that makes any girl blush.

To Always Look Flawless...

Always wear a primer! Even if you think you are just going to throw on a little blush or some quick powder for shine, inevitably we always get more color deposit in some areas or caking in others. Prevent that from happening while also transforming your complexion, protecting and providing seemless hours of wear by applying a primer before your make-up. Here's a tip, place the tube in the refrigerator for a natural anit-puffing and cooling remedy for your skin. You will feel more than amazing.
