Each season we are met with a new list of must HAVE'S and HAVE NOT's. Trade the seasonal stress and just add important items. Take these tips to help make your beauty regimen stress free and become true beauty icons.
What's Hot/What's Not 2010
Hot: Finding deals for your beauty pleasures...it is often easy to find coupons and discounts on some of your favorite brands right on-line, try becoming a fan of your "go-to" brands or checkout your favorite beauty magazine for coupons. Use those to help you save your hard earned money, yet enjoy your favorite beauty brands.
Not: Concealer that moves! How devastating when your formerly covered blemish is now exposed, or worse, dark circles, from late night...and well, life...show through....take action girls with a few of my favorite recommendations:
Hot: Do a beauty swap. We sometimes become overwhelmed with the hottest and latest colors yet somehow most of those purchases end up as unused makeup sitting in your very drawers. So.... take 5 minutes to plan a mini get together with friends and enjoy swapping each other's unwanted and unused makeup and end up with exactly what you want and what you will use. After the swap, any remaining product is great for donating to women's help programs, "Dress for Success" or "The Bowery Mission" where they teach women about life success and help to make them self-sufficient. Now you are not only charitable, but it's time well spent with friends which always lightens up the winter doldrums.
Not: Using that same old mascara that dries your lashes. Let's face it, they get old and there's no excuse for keeping a dry and crumbly wand around. With today's beauty innovations, search out the mascara that best suits you, that lengthens, hydrates, and preserves your batting beauties. My favorites are "Kiss Me" mascara, which creates tiny tubes around your lashes so there's no pulling when it's removed, or Maybelline's "Full n' Soft". This mascara thickens, lengthens and separates for a beautiful naturally glam effect. Try this as an cheaper alternative to Dior's "Dior Show" Mascara!
